For performing artists in any genre, we are always looking for new work to include in our seasons. Theatre Project brings nationally and internationally recognized professional artists to Baltimore audiences. Simultaneously, it offers a nurturing, professional outlet for local artists who are just testing their wings. It serves as a laboratory for new work and a crossroads for different cultural points of view.
There are several ways to present work at Theatre Project, including co-producing with Theatre Project, renting the space, or being presented by Theatre Project.
Producing Director Chris Pfingsten oversees all programming at Theatre Project. He schedules all of our artistic presentations and any special events that come to the space.
If you would like your production/project to be considered for presentation, contact Chris. He can be reached by phone at 410-539-3091 or email at chris@theatreproject.org. You’ll need to know what you want to do, when you want to do it, and why the work is appropriate for Theatre Project. (Please do not send unsolicited scripts) Any promotional material that might help flesh out your plans is welcome. If you send a CD or DVD make sure that it is a duplicate copy and has your name, address, and phone number on the front of the disc. If you’d like your disc to be returned, include a self-addressed, stamped return envelope with your submission.
The best way to be considered for an engagement at Theatre Project is to be seen live! To that end make sure that we are on your mailing list and know about any upcoming events. Chris and the staff try to see as much as they can throughout the season.
